As Australia’s leading supplier of cans to the Craft Brew industry, Orora is thrilled to present the GABS Craft Beer Can Design Awards.
Celebrating the best in craft beer can design, the GABS Can Design Awards recognise the importance of great design and visual communication in a brewery’s efforts to engage customers.
The awards are brought to you by the team who produce the GABS Craft Beer & Cider Festivals, which hosts events in Auckland, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney each year. It is recognised as one of the world’s best beer festivals and GABS was proud to celebrate 10 years in 2020!
To enter the awards, Craft Brewers from across Australia were invited to submit one can design, which must be released within the year leading up to the awards. Mike Bray, MD of GABS said,
Over 160 Australian Craft Breweries entered the inaugural competition and the level of design was just incredible. With so many options on the market the first impression made by the can label has now become as important as the great beer inside.
